The Chaîne Spring Fling in Blowing Rock

Member Don Ball has invited us to lunch at his Blowing Rock Home on Saturday. AND, he’s trying to arrange a tour of a rather impressive private art collection while we’re in Blowing Rock.
As for dining, one evening we’ll have a 45-second stroll to dinner at our featured hotel, Gideon Ridge. We will be al fresco (weather permitting) on the fabulous terrace at Gideon Ridge with unparalleled views.
On the other night, we’ll be dining at the fabulous Rowland's restaurant at the Westglow Spa (with a great view of Grandfather Mountain).
Overall, we have scouted a fantastic location for you and it's a little more than three hours from Chapel Hill (SEE PHOTOS FROM OUR SCOUTING TRIP BELOW). Reserve a room now at Gideon Ridge as space is limited (alternate accommodations at the Inn at Ragged Gardens). Lodging at Gideon Ridge includes a fabulous, made to order breakfast plus afternoon high tea (nearly 3,600 feet high!).
Contrary to what you may have read (or heard), a formal evening may STILL be part of the weekend, so gents---have the tux ready to go.
